The SUSBOARD project has officially launched its website, providing a central hub for information on one of the most ambitious sustainability initiatives in the wood-based panel and furniture industries.
SUSBOARD, funded by Horizon Europe, aims to develop 100% biobased, formaldehyde-free, and cost-competitive adhesives for particleboard (PB) and medium-density fibreboard (MDF). These innovative adhesives will replace conventional fossil-based components, helping the industry reduce its environmental footprint while maintaining high performance and affordability.
The new website offers insights into the project’s objectives, partners, and progress. Visitors can access updates on scientific research, explore dissemination and communication activities, and follow SUSBOARD’s journey toward creating sustainable solutions for Europe’s wood panel industry.
The launch of the website marks an important step in sharing knowledge, engaging stakeholders, and promoting the adoption of biobased adhesives across the industry.
