In July 2025, RTDS Group is enabling a delegation from Auckland University of Technology to gain new Horizon Europe research cooperations with Austrian universities in Vienna.
Since 2024, New Zealand (NZ) is fully associated to the Horizon Europe funding program. Additionally, our Founder and Chairman Dr. Stephen Webb has roots in New Zealand. Currently, the RTDS Group is supporting NZ research organisations to establish networks in Europe and engage in new Horizon Europe research collaborations.
In that context, RTDS is organising a delegation of four renowned professors from the Auckland University of Technology to visit Vienna in the first week of July, in order to meet with Austrian universities to set up new research cooperations for the Horizon Europe programme.
Auckland University of Technology (AUT) in New Zealand is one of the world’s best modern universities, ranked among the top 100 young universities and placed in the top 125 in the world in by Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2025.
Its research is focused on real-world impact and has more than 60 research centres and institutes delivering innovative research – from artificial intelligence and robotics to ecology and public health with special focus on technological – but human centred solutions.
